Renfro Corporation teamed up with San Francisco based Quantcast, an ecommerce partner, to provide socks to St. Anthony’s. The St. Anthony’s organization provides essential support to San Franciscans living in poverty. They noted a higher need for men’s socks during the holiday season and in response the two organizations provided 720 pairs of Fruit of the Loom socks.
St. Anthony’s serves 2,400 hot meals and provides medical care to 130 guests every 24 hours. Annually, the Foundation provides 39,000 sets of new clothing to nearly 11,000 guests (including 2,000 children). Renfro’s Fruit of the Loom Brand Manager said “It was a privilege for Renfro to be able to use their resources to provide the community with this much needed clothing item. Socks are one of the most requested items by shelters and clothing banks as warm, dry feet are critical to the health and well-being of those who are facing challenges. We actively work across a number of charities and organizations in our communities to support these needs as they arise throughout the year.”
